As a sign of the financial viability of the Iron Man franchise, the third sequel posted the biggest opening day sales in the Philippines and then went on to break the 300 million mark by posting the biggest opening weekend gross sales!
In SM Fairview, all 12 cinemas showed the film and still had long lines! Young and the young at heart queued with their popcorns and sodas eagerly awaiting the start of the movie. I brought my whole brood to watch on opening day and everyone had a blast! The effects were true to form and the story line vintage Marvel. Oh and as usual, don't get out just yet since there was still a sequence after the closing credits.
With the box office success of this movie it seems that movie piracy is already waning with only CAM captures circulating. Of course, you won't get to appreciate the special effects of the movie with a CAM capture so I guess many thought it was not worth the eye strain to purchase/download a pirated copy.
This is a MUST watch!
