Change Begins with US

It will only take a couple of people to initiate a tidal wave effect to spur a movement. Imagine what it will do if majority of us Filipinos decides to make a stand to initiate CHANGE. A change of attitude. Self policing ourselves to follow the laws and vigilantly persecute those who don't. Bonding together as public citizens to create livelihood for our less fortunate brothers and sisters; subsidizing a meal of a policeman, MMDA enforcer, barangay health officer, tanod, or street cleaner.
In order for our government workers to provide exemplary service they need to be happy by being well compensated.  If government cannot provide the needed financial support to alleviate the plight of our government employees with their meager salaries, maybe we can, as a citizenry, give our small token to compensate for this lack. Meron na tayong ganyang mga tao. Dagdagan pa natin!
If we want CHANGE. It needs to start with ME. YOU. US.
Let us join hands in creating a better future for our country! God bless the Philippines!

Phoebe Cates: A Look Down MY Memory Lane

"Fast Times at Ridgemont High" was an awakening movie for me.  It was 1982 and I saw it at a friend's house with their then high tech Betamax machine. I was 14 years old at the peak of raging hormones and very impressionistic.  Naturally, like all the kids my age who was able to watch this movie, I took a liking to that lady in (and out) the red two piece bikini.  Needless to say, that scene was etched in my mind---a constant source of good dreams---up to now!

I became a Phoebe Cates fan right there and then!

My locker was a virtual Phoebe Cates shrine!  I believe she was the most salable poster in Recto judging by the numerous shots of her (most of which was with her in a bikini).  I believe it's obvious which ones I had wall papered in my locker!
