My Advise for a Long and Lasting Relationship

1.  No matter your common ground NOT to get married---ASK HER ANYWAY.

2.  Continue to court and flirt with her even after you're married.

3.  Know her bad side and stay clear of it like a plague!

4.  Contradict her only if you have an iron clad defense for your position; otherwise, SHUT UP.

5.  Be sensitive to the needs of your partner---PROVIDE for her unspoken needs.

6.  Correlative to #1 and #5:  MAYBE, IKAW NA ANG BAHALA, and EWAN KO, may actually mean YES---make an effort to know the difference (facial expression, verbal intonation, and body language is key).

7.  When she says NO---take it at face value (especially if you're asking permission to go out with the guys).

8.  Correlative to #7:  If you decide to go against her NO, make sure you bring her a present that would melt her heart into forgiving you.  

     Note:  This may only be applicable to the RICH types; otherwise, NEVER attempt to do this.

9.  Make an effort to make her laugh.

10.  Always tell her how beautiful she is.  

11.  If you can't do any the above mentioned advise or if you see that your better half does not appreciate this effort---I suggest you get yourself a new partner.

Black and White Photography Experiment

I'm not really the "black and white" guy but I recently obliged the Black and White Photography Challenge and tried my creative touch on some old pictures that I took.

Planking and Looking Forward to a Six Pack Abs

At first I thought planking was a piece of cake. No movements; you only need to stay at one stationary position for a minute. Sisiw...until I tried doing it and found how hard it is to do. 60 seconds, 3 reps. Burning abdominal muscles after.

ISANG MALAKING MONAYpa din as of now but I'm hoping maging 6 NA PANDESAL sya after a lot of hard work, persistence, and the positive thinking.

About PROMOTION

In my personal experience (mine and those I have seen of those I have come to work with), being promoted is best savored when it comes as a surprise; meaning, you just consistently do your work well, be pro-active, exhibit initiative, always strive for excellence---do this day in and day out all for the love of what you're doing without any expectation of a reward.  

I have seen people make promotion as an end and most of them end up disgruntled when they don't get it on their desired time frame.  These people eventually end up burned out, slowly slacking off, and just work just like a vendo machine---NO COIN, NO WORK (well, work that has no value).  They just go through the motion of day to day work load.

Bottom line is:  DON'T EXPECT TO BE PROMOTED.
