Hang Over 3: Movie Review

The Wolf Pack once again finds themselves in dire consequences and like the other two adventures that they have gone through, Alan (Zack Galifianakis) is again in the middle of it all!

This time it was no bachelor's party but an intervention to have Alan committed to a rehab facility "to make him better".  Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), and Doug (Justin Bartha) accompany Alan to the Arizona facility when they are side tracked by Marshall (John Goodman) and his goons who apparently had a beef with Chow (Ken Jeong).  Marshal stitches a connection of events from the Wolf Pack's Las Vegas and Bangkok adventures to their present situation where Chow, who just bolted out of a Bangkok jail, is linked to Alan.  Poor Doug who again gets hostaged as Phil, Stu, and Alan go to Mexico and Las Vegas to get Chow.  Expect a whole lot of wacky adventures along the way!

Nice weekend de-stresser!  Oh, and don't go just yet when the closing credits starts to show or you'll miss out on a whole lot of laughs with the group's encore!

Movie Review: Star Trek Into the Darkness

Oh, don't worry about this picture of the USS Enterprise plunging to yet another disastrous landing.  It is not the first time that she's done that and she has always come back from each punishing encounter.  What you should be asking is, "Whose going to die?"  Ooops!  Did I say too much?  Well, I guess you'll just to have to find out for yourself!  But one thing is for certain, Star Trek fans---like myself--- will love the film!

The special effects were very realistic and the characters---after the prequel take off with the 2009 film simply titled Star Trek with Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, and Karl Urban in the lead---has become more convincing as the young version of the original TV series cast.  I particularly like the banter between Kirk, Spock, and Bones which was reminiscent as to how William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, and DeForest Kelley did it.

The movies phasing will keep you glued to your seats as it jumps from one action sequence to another.  Personally, there's nothing boring about this film.  Definitely a MUST WATCH!

"Space: the final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise. Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before." – Captain T. Kirk

Robust Purchase at SM Grocery

If you're thinking of picking up that Robust box at your local SM Grocery---DON'T!  Chances are, it's empty!  I'm sure those of you who are into this performance enhancing drug don't really inspect the boxes, I mean, if it looks closed you won't take a second look, right?  It's actually like buying condom over the counter---you just pick a couple and then nonchalantly shove it in front of the cashier.  Dedma lang para wala ng mga mapagtanong na tingin sa mga nakakakitang bumibili ka nito!

Based on the empty and opened boxes, I'd say this is hot item!
