Two weeks ago, on a rainy Wednesday afternoon, I was walking along St. Francis Street when suddenly, in front of Shangri-la Hotel, a guy came out of nowhere and took shelter under my umbrella. He was Indian and he requested if he could walk with me to take shelter from the rain. So nice guy that I am I obliged the request. Apparently he was on his way to Mega Mall where I was headed myself.
Not wanting any awkward silence as we walked to our common destination I made small talk and found out that he is a yoga practitioner, single, he lives in Pasig, and has been in the country for 24 years. Unfortunately, I missed the most important question of all---his name. Anyway, I did ask him for his calling card just in case I get the urge to try on yoga in the future and he said that he'll teach me for free as we walked. "Really?!" And then he asks me a very intriguing question, "HOW MANY TIMES CAN YOU HAVE SEX EVERY NIGHT?" Taken aback, I can only say, "Once?" as if there is a standard answer to the question. He then tells me about three morning yoga exercises that would make me more vigorous in bed and true enough, he was done explaining how it's done by the time we parted ways inside Mega Mall.
At first I thought that it was all a bunch of BS; but when I researched on the subject, there are indeed yoga poses or asanas that can help liven up your under the sheets activity. Here are the three asanas he thought me:
1. Sarvangaasana: This asana helps rejuvenate the entire body. It improves the working of the thyroid glands that regulate the working of almost all bodily functions, right from increasing metabolism to keeping you energetic throughout the day. The most promising effect of this asana is that it helps strengthen the adrenal glands, working of the testis and therefore helps in increasing the potency of sperm and semen.
How it's done: Lie on a yoga mat with your legs extending outwards. Now slowly raise your legs either by first folding them at the knees or by lifting them straight. Place your palms along your back and hips to support it, and raise your body while pointing your toes to the ceiling. All your weight should be on your shoulders. Make sure you breathe slowly and lock your chin into your chest. Your elbows should be touching the floor and your back should be supported. Hold this pose for as long as you are comfortable. To return to the lying position, slowly lower your body. Do not fall back to the lying position.
Critical Point: Not recommended for those with high blood pressure or those with back injuries.
2. Anulom Vilom Pranayam: This is a breathing technique and is known to help resolve a number of problems like respiratory allergies, rhinitis, sinusitis, cold and cough. But apart from that it also helps increase sexual please and betters the feeling of an orgasm. It also helps delay ejaculation and gives strength to the entire body.
How it's done: Sit in lotus position. Press your right nostril with your thumb and breathe in with your left nostril and then press your left nostril and then breath out with your right nostril. Reverse the procedure and do the cycle 10 times.
Critical Point: This exercise is best done in your garden or somewhere you can get a whiff of fresh air.

3. Kapal bhati pranayam: This is a form of breathing exercise that helps to oxygenate your body while strengthening the muscles of your stomach and abdomen. It helps in giving you that flat toned tummy, melts away love handles and improves digestion.
How it's done: Sit comfortably on your yoga mat. Keep your spine erect and your palms on your knees facing downwards. Now exhale through your nose and pull your stomach in towards your spine. When you loosen your stomach muscles you will automatically breath in. Quickly contract your stomach muscles again and exhale. Your stomach muscles should be doing the work of pushing out and pulling in air. Do this initially about 50 times, you can increase the number of repetitions as you feel comfortable. After doing this form of breathing you will initially feel some soreness around the muscles of your stomach and abdomen. This is normal.
Critical Point: Done every morning with an empty stomach. Not recommended for those with high blood pressure or those with back injuries.
