Heart attack is the leading cause of death in the United States.  Based on the research done in Belfast and Massachussets, having sex two to three times a week can decrease the risk of heart attack by 50%.  It is also noteworthy to know that only 1% of heart attack fatalities happened during or after coitus.  This means that it is unlikely for you to croak during the deed.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control, prostate cancer is the second cause of cancer deaths among men in the United States after lung cancer.  However, based on a study of 29,000 men  by the Journal of American Medical Association, those who had ejaculated more than twenty-one times a month had a lower risk of prostate cancer as compared to those who came a low four to seven times.  This also holds true to sexually active men in their 50's.  Apparently, cleaning the tubes ever so often prevents the build up of cancer producing carcinogens.

Professional athletes usually shun sex prior to a big game.  However, if you're not into competitive sports and play more in the corporate boardroom, this would be good news for you.  An experiment in Biological Psychology showed that the blood pressure of those who had sex in the previous fortnight spiked less during public speaking and normalized more quickly.  Getting in the sack reduces the level of the stress hormone cortisol.  A reduction of stress is also said to lower down the risk of prostate cancer.

Apparently, we need not search for the elusive fountain of youth.  The Royal Edinburg Hospital found in their study that those who engaged in sex three times a week looked 10 years younger due to the increase in anti-ageing growth hormones, blood oxygen, and testosterone.

I bought a couple of San Miguel Beer Super Dry during our last grocery day last week planning on having drinks with my boys to celebrate my wife's birthday (December 23).  Unfortunately, our side-trip to MOA went longer than expected and we were too smashed to drink when we got home.  So the following day, while we were preparing for our noche buena feast, I grabbed  a hold of my Super Dries and called for a toast to the birthday celebrant!

My mom set me aside a bowl-full of lengua in the fridge so I took it out, got it heated in the trusty microwave and viola---we have a nice hot pulutan to wash down!  

The thing is, a bowl-full wouldn't suffice for my pulutan hungry drinking buddies so out came two packs of garlic flavored peanuts to compensate for what we already have.  Isang platitong mani---that's the tag line of the late Flash Elorde's 1984 San Miguel Beer commercial!  Well, I'd say it's still the best BEER PARTNER!

To top it all off, I turn on the Greenbay Packers vs. Chicago Bears Week 16 game which I downloaded and we're set!

Mall of Asia EYE Ferris Wheel

It maybe the biggest ferris wheel in the country but after having our turn to ride this behemoth yesterday---it soon turned out to be the biggest disappointment!  Why?  Well, if you've ridden a ferris wheel before, it's a ride that turns round and round.  The MOA ferris wheel only turned once and what a slow, lifeless turn it was!  And @ Php 150/head it sure was highway robbery!

SPARE YOURSELF THE DISAPPOINTMENT AND DON'T RIDE THIS THING.  It makes a for good picture backdrop though!

American Chopper: The Final Hurrah

Two seasons ago, I wrote about the impending cancellation of American Chopper.  That time, Junior and Senior were at the height of their legal battle and it was taking its toll on the show.  As a fan, I felt that it was an abrupt and  untimely end to a great show.  Fortunately, TLC/Discovery was able to salvage the series with a spin off titled Junior vs. Senior where the two Teutuls are now business competitors with Junior running his own bike building company Paul Junior Designs.  But the show has run its course and what a run it was!  10 years of bike building creativeness and spiced with a family dysfunction like no other!  So what better way to end the show than with a four way build off with last year's second placer Jesse James and new comer Gas Monkey Garage getting in the mix with both Teutul companies.  Aside from this, it was a new beginning for father and son who has now on the way of mending their ways.

NFL Fearless Forecast

The Greenbay Packers are going back to the Superbowl and I'm ready for it!  The NFC championship will be between them vs the San Francisco 49ers.

This is my latest football jersey purchased at the "tiangihan" at Robinson's Novaliches.  Next up would be #52 (Clay Matthews)---hopefully by next week!

PJD Wins American Chopper Build Off

Paul Teutul Jr. and the crew of Paul Junior Design once again proved their bike building prowess as they notch their third consecutive American Chopper build off win last December 12. This time, it was a four-way build off with Jesse James, OCC, and Gas Monkey Garage.

 Their inspiration for this design was the American Classic Car and to capture this look they incorporated it with a 1939 Chevy grill complemented with hood ornament and headlight.  These are just some of the creative touches that made this bike the fans choice.  Classy and chic!  Vintage PJD!

Cesca and Denise are not new to Uno.  Both graced the cover of the magazine in May and April 2009, respectively, which got the Filipino male population gasping for breath; so to have them both in this cover together with the equally alluring beauty of Bella Padilla is a coronary waiting to happen!

Me, Myself, and a Whole Lot of Crap---The Second Page
